About Lashawnda

During the 2020 Pandemic, Lashawnda Becoats had a powerful vision for herself - to live free of inhibition and fear. She moved to Grenada, West Indies then boldly quit her job as Editor-in-Chief of Pride Magazine in Charlotte, N.C. to start a new life in paradise.  

 

For Lashawnda, letting go of the rat race lifestyle meant embracing new ideas around freedom and redefining success. Whether it’s the choice to flaunt her naturally gray crown or traveling the world to experience different cultures, her passion for living on her own terms gave birth to her lifestyle brand: Run Toward Your Life®.

 

As a woman of action, Lashawnda took her story of liberation and decided to inspire the world around her with it. Very quickly she discovered women and men of all ages wanted to hear what she had to say.

 

Since the inception of her brand, she has built an audience of dedicated fans who frequent her Instagram account for their fix of lifestyle content including, motivation, style, travel and Forty Plus Courting advice, laughs, and the motivation to live a life full of possibilities. What’s her secret? Simply being herself.

 

Today, she enjoys working part-time professionally as an over 40 model, and as a brand manager for her company, Storm Creative Solutions, Inc. 

 

Her favorite motto is “Run Toward Your Life®, don't live your life in fear,” she says. “The key to success is believing in yourself.”
